Pakistani Nuclear scientist DR. Abdul Qadeer Khan passed away
Abdul Qadeer Khan is also known as S.Q khan . He was a Pakistani nuclear scientist . HE is known as the “Father of Pakistani’s atomic weapon program ” Abdul Qadeer khan was born on 1 April 18936 in BHOPAL , BHOPAL STATE.
On 26 August 2021, he was tested positive for COVID-19 and admitted to khan research laboratories Hospital . On 10 Octubar he died in Islamabad at the age of 85 after being transferred to KRL hospital with lungs problem.
In 1915 he migrated to Pakistan from India , Khan was educated in the metallurgical engineering from western European technical universities , where he studies uranium metallurgy and isotopes separation based on gas certification . In 1974, he learns India ‘SMILING BUDDHA’ nuclear teat . In 1976 , khan founded the khan research laboratories (KRL) and then he joined his nation ‘s clandestine to develop atomic weapons.
Khan family belongs to Pashtun origin . His father Abdul Ghafoor was a school teacher , he also worked for the ministry of Education and his mother Zulekha was a housewife . IN 1947 , his whole family members had emigrated to Pakistan during the partition of India .
Khan was settled in Karachi with his family . In 1956, he completed his graduation with a Bachelor of science (BSC) in physics from university of Karachi . In 1961, KHAN went for west Germany to study material science at the Technical university in West Berlin . Then in 1965, he left west Berlin and switched to delft university of technology in Netherlands.
In 1962, he met Henny while he was an vacation in THE HABGUE . In 1963, he married Henny in a Muslim ceremony at Pakistan’s Embassy in the HAGUE .
KHAN is the only citizen of Pakistan who have honoured twice with NISHAN-E-IMTIAZ in 1999 and the in 1996 and in 1989 he honoured with HILAL-E-IMTIAZ
His accorded state funeral at FAISAL MOSQUE before his buried at H-8 GRAVEYAD . At the time of death, his age was 85.
